Thailand Y Content Awards 2025 Announced to Celebrate BL Series Industry

Bangkok: The Thai Y Content Promotion Association (TBLC) and the Department of Cultural Promotion have announced the Thailand Y Content Awards 2025, featuring numerous actors and producers, set for July 23, 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, the awards ceremony is a collaboration between TBLC and the Ministry of Culture's Department of Cultural Promotion. The event, designed to recognize and promote individuals in the BL (Boys' Love) content industry, was launched at SCBX NEXT TECH HALL, Siam Paragon. The atmosphere was bustling, with BL series producers and media representatives capturing the moment.

The Thailand Y Content Awards 2025, themed "DIAMOND," aims to elevate the Thai BL series industry to an international level. Mr. Napasit Thiangtham, President of the Thai BL Content Promotion Association, and Ms. Pratthana Sindhunawa, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion, highlighted the event's objectives and governmental support. The event attracted top Thai producers, actors, and artists, concluding with a contemporary Thai fashion show featuring Thai silk garments and jewelry from Beauty Gems, valued at over 33 million baht.

The awards ceremony will honor both on-screen and behind-the-scenes personnel in 18 categories. Fifteen awards will be judged by a panel of experts, focusing on acting performance and production quality. Categories include Best Series Award, Best Actor Award, and Best Series Director, among others. Additionally, three Popular Vote Awards will allow fan clubs and the general public to participate through the EMOS application.

Eligible BL/GL series for nomination must have aired between April 2025 and March 2026, with a minimum of six episodes, each at least 40 minutes long. The Thailand Y Content Awards 2025 will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at MCC HALL, The Mall Lifestyle Store Bangkapi.
