Chonburi:"Tham Lod Maha Chakraphat" at Wat Luang Phi Saem in Phanat Nikhom District is a renowned tourist attraction in Chonburi Province, drawing both spiritual seekers and photography enthusiasts. The site is famous for its impressive cave structure and the spiritual experiences it offers.
According to Thai News Agency, the main feature of the cave is the magnificent "Phaya Ananta Nakarat," a seven-headed serpent statue that stretches several tens of meters long from the emerald green waters of the cave's center. This statue is illuminated with vibrant, changing lights, creating an atmosphere that is both mysterious and powerful.
Visitors to the cave engage in the worship of Phaya Ananta Naga by offering colored crystal balls, which are believed to be "wish-granting gems." The ritual involves reciting a mantra and dropping these crystal balls into the sacred pool, symbolically sending prayers and wishes to the underworld, hoping for the fulfillment of their desires.
In addition to the serpent statue, the cave houses "Phra Phutthachakraphat," a large golden Buddha image in the Maravijaya posture. This sacred figure offers a place for worshippers to pay homage and seek blessings for prosperity.
Outside the cave, visitors can enjoy a Japanese-style garden, complete with trees and a simulated waterfall, providing a tranquil environment for relaxation. This feature encourages visitors to extend their stay and immerse themselves in the serene atmosphere of Wat Luang Phi Saem.
