Thammanat Congratulates Newly Elected MPs, Predicts Even Better Results

Bangkok: Thammanat Phromphao, the chief advisor of the Kla Tham Party, congratulated the 58 newly elected MPs, expressing confidence that he could have anticipated even better outcomes. Thammanat assured that the candidates who came in second place would not be neglected, as they would continue to receive support in their political endeavors.

According to Thai News Agency, Thammanat and party leader Mrs. Narumon Phinyosinwat, along with other leaders, held a press conference at the Kla Tham Party headquarters after a meeting of the party's executive committee and prospective MPs. The meeting aimed to clarify key matters with the prospective MPs and to express gratitude for the public's support, which included over 4 million votes for constituency MPs and over 600,000 votes for party-list MPs. These votes are seen as a crucial source of motivation for the party.

The meeting also served to congratulate the 58 prospective MPs while preparing for even better results, as 45 candidates who were runners-up will continue to be involved in the party's political activities. Discussions included guidelines for compliance during the 30-day period before the election results are officially certified by the Election Commission, avoiding violations of election laws, and preparations for the registration of new MPs and the declaration of their assets.

Thammanat emphasized the importance of waiting for the Election Commission's official certification of the election results before making any further decisions. The responsibility for these decisions will lie with the entire executive committee and the prospective MPs.
