Thammanat Dismisses Vote Buying Allegations and Highlights Kla Tham Party’s Popularity

Bangkok: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Captain Thamanat Phromphao, in his capacity as the advisor to the Kla Tham Party, addressed rumors of vote buying at a rate of 7,500 baht per vote, stating that the figure was impossible and that he did not know who was behind it. He also commented that no politician would dare to do something like this because, if it were true, it would cause severe damage to the country.

According to Thai News Agency, Thamanat elaborated that the alleged expenditure of 20-30 billion baht to facilitate such vote buying is unrealistic. He emphasized his lack of concern over these allegations, citing the Kla Tham Party's unique approach to campaigning. The party is reportedly engaging in continuous campaigning efforts across all provinces without interruption.

Additionally, Thamanat confirmed that the Kla Tham Party is ranked among the top five most popular parties in every province. He expressed confidence in the party's steadfast position, which he believes reflects the public's positive response in the upcoming election.
