The 2024 World Youth Weightlifting Championships in Leon, Spain, previously the Thai powerlifting team had a good start, winning 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals from Khemika Kamnerdsri 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal in the 45 kg women's category and Narumon Wonghajak 1 bronze medal in the 49 kg women's category. The Thai team has a chance to win another medal from "Thanaporn Saetia" in the 59 kg women's group A, with the snatch technique, calling for 92 kg, 94 kg, and 96 kg respectively, and successfully lifting all of them, earning the first "gold medal" for the Thai team in this event.
