The killer of an unidentified woman who was found dead in the forest by the roadside in Uthai Thani Province has been arrested.

Oct 22 – The Lansak police investigation team arrested the killer of an unknown woman and dumped her body in a bush at the entrance to a cassava plantation. He confessed to killing the unknown woman, who was his third wife.

From the case of Lan Sak Police Station, Uthai Thani Province, found the body of a young woman on the side of the road, it appeared that she had been strangled with a black shirt covering her head and then a red rope around her neck. There were traces of being dragged from the side of the road to where the body was found, a distance of approximately 20 meters.

Villagers who witnessed the incident said that at 5 pm on October 19, they saw a new white van drive past their house. When they reached the three-way intersection, the van turned right. After that, they rode their motorcycle to the market. At that moment, they passed the scene of the incident and saw the van parked in an alley on the side of a dirt road next to a cassava field. They saw a man and a woman, both plump and fair-skinn
ed, wearing shorts, get out of the car with the man and go into the cassava field. They later learned that a murder had occurred in the same area where they saw it.

Until yesterday (21 Oct.) at approximately 15.00 hrs., the Lansak Police Investigation Unit, together with the Uthai Thani Provincial Police Investigation Unit, brought a warrant from the Uthai Thani Provincial Court to arrest Mr. Sangwien on charges of intentional murder. This arrest took place in the area of ??Samran Rat Police Station, Bangkok.

Initially, the investigation police of Uthai Thani Provincial Police interrogated Mr. Sangwien, who confessed that he was the one who killed the unknown woman, who was Laotian and was his third wife.

After questioning, the police detained Mr. Sangwien at Samranrat Police Station and continued the investigation into related issues before returning the suspect to the investigation officer at Lansak Police Station, Lansak District, Uthai Thani Province, to proceed with legal action. – Thai News Agency
