The owner of a Pad Thai restaurant shot and killed the younger brother of the wife of the owner of a famous roast duck restaurant in the middle of Surat Thani. He had already reported the incident to the police twice. Locals revealed that the two had been having an argument for a long time. CCTV footage from a roast duck shop in Makham Tia Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surat Thani, captured the incident while the owner's wife and employees were washing their front yard, causing water to flow into the neighboring shop, which was a Pad Thai shop. Mr. Thanawut, 37, the owner of the Pad Thai shop, was not happy and came out to scold him, leading to an argument and physical assault against the owner of the roast duck shop. After that, the wife of the owner of the roast duck shop called Mr. Kai, age 51, her younger brother, to come and help sort things out. When Mr. Kai arrived, he shouted for Mr. Thanawut to come out and sort things out, but Mr. Thanawut refused to clear things up and instead grabbed a gun and fired until the magazine was empty, causing Mr. Kai to fall down. Mr. Thanawut walked back into the shop and did not run away. The incident occurred this morning. After the incident, Surat Thani City Police Station officers inspected the scene and found rescue workers performing CPR on Mr. Kai before rushing him to the hospital, but they were unable to save his life. The police then took Mr. Thanawut, who was in the Pad Thai Hoi Tod shop, into custody for questioning at the police station. Mr. Somkiat, 56 years old, the owner of the roast duck shop, said that in the morning he made duck according to the customer's order. Then his wife washed the floor in front of the house. When Mr. Kai arrived, he shouted for Mr. Thanawut to come out and clear things up. But he was shot until the magazine was empty. The perpetrator has been her e for 1 year. When he first came, I asked him to make a water barrier because I wash my face every day. Otherwise, there would be a lot of flies. But he said it was okay. In the end, there was a problem about this matter. It got to the point where I had to report it to the police twice. After giving her statement, the investigator sent her to Surat Thani Hospital for a physical examination. At the scene of the incident, Surat Thani Municipality staff brought a fire truck to spray water to clean up the bloodstains. As for the motive behind the incident, locals near the scene said that the two parties had been arguing for a long time, both about parking customers who were not their customers and about washing the shop's front door. Before the incident, Mr. Thanawut, the shooter, put up a sign announcing that the house was for sale in order to move to another place, but it was not sold yet.
