Government House, The Prime Minister summoned Pheu Thai ministers to meet at Thai Khu Fah Building before leading the cabinet meeting, while 5 ministers were absent from the meeting. Prime Minister Settha Thavisin chaired the Cabinet meeting. Before the meeting at 9:35 a.m., the Prime Minister summoned ministers from the Pheu Thai Party to meet at Thai Khu Fah Building, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Phumtham Vejjayachai and Minister of Digital Economy and Society Prasert Chantarawongthong. Earlier, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office Jakrapob Sangmanee and Deputy Finance Minister Paopum Rojanasakul had already gone up to Thai Khu Fah Building. Mr. Phumtham revealed before going up to Thai Khu Fah Building that he did not know what the Prime Minister invited him to discuss. He just found out that he was called as well. Then at 09.45 a.m., the Prime Minister, along with the Pheu Thai Party ministers, walked down from Thai Khu Fah Building to the 1st Command Building, where Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and Mr. Sermsak Pongpanich, Minister of Tourism and Sports, were waiting to receive them at the Command Building. Reporters reported that in today's (23 July) Cabinet meeting, 5 ministers announced their absence from the meeting, consisting of 1. Ms. Pimpattra Wichaikul, Minister of Industry, 2. Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce, 3. Surapong Piyachote, Deputy Minister of Transport, 4. Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, and 5. Mr. Songsak Thongsri, Deputy Minister of Interior. While the cabinet meeting is watching the case of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, which will propose measures to solve the problem of the black-chinned tilapia urgently.
