The ‘Royal Volunteer Caravan of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security’ will be launched on July 19th.

Government House, "Warawut" reveals that the "Royal Volunteer Caravan of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security" will be launched on July 19 to visit vulnerable groups. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, revealed that on July 19, 2024, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security will organize the 'Royal Volunteer Caravan, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security' activity under the project 'MSDHundred Hearts, Volunteers for the People, Honoring His Majesty the King on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024', in which he and the Minister of Social Development and Human Security will preside over the opening ceremony and will lead the recitation of the pledge 'We Do Good with Our Hearts'. Mr. Anukul Peedkaew, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security), along with e xecutives, civil servants and officials of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security from 76 central and regional offices nationwide, including royal volunteers, volunteers for social development and human security (DSH) and social networks from the public, private and civil society sectors, as well as the general public, will participate in the activity, which will be held in front of the Department of Social Development and Welfare, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and in the operational areas in Bangkok. The event will also be broadcast live in collaboration with regional agencies. The Royal Volunteer Caravan will be launched to perform its duties in communities in Bangkok to visit the homes of vulnerable groups of people, such as children, the elderly, the disabled, and the underprivileged, to provide assistance and protection. There will also be a joint planting of trees in honor of His Majesty the King and the distribution of tree saplings to agencies under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to be planted as auspicious trees for the agencies. With gratitude for His Majesty the King's gracious bestowal of the "904 V.P.R. Volunteer Project" in line with the royal initiative "We do good deeds with our hearts" with the aim of uniting all groups of citizens to cooperate and participate in public activities for the benefit of the community as a whole without expecting anything in return, and to have love and attachment to the main institutions of the nation, namely the nation, religion, and the monarchy. The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security recognizes the importance of the Royal Volunteer Project in accordance with the royal initiative of His Majesty the King. It is a promotion and development of personnel under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, both central and regional units in 76 provinces nationwide, to be royal volunteers. It is also a celebration of His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycl e Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024. Therefore, the "Royal Volunteer Caravan, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security" activity has been organized. To focus on making personnel of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security aware of their roles and responsibilities as volunteers for the people, as well as to remind them of the intentions of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security in working on social development and promoting a good quality of life for all target groups of people, in response to the royal intentions of His Majesty the King.
