Bangkok: “Thirat” went to the scene of a factory fire in the Chalong Krung 55 area, ordered urgent assistance for those affected, and asked for the public’s cooperation to avoid the area where the fire occurred.
According to Thai News Agency, on 12 May 2025 at 6:00 a.m., Ms. Teerarat Samretwanich, Deputy Minister of Interior, visited the factory fire situation in Soi Chalong Krung 55, Lat Krabang District, Bangkok, and visited the temporary shelter and gave encouragement to the affected people. She emphasized that all officials must work with the utmost safety, especially in evacuating people from areas where there is still thick smog in the morning.
Firefighters and rescue teams are still rushing to spray water to control the fire. More than 100 water trucks from several districts in Bangkok are joining the operation to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby areas. There are no reports of injuries or deaths.

immediately, along with the Bangkok Emergency Medical Service Center (Erawan Center) sending a team of officers to screen the health of the people evacuated to the center.
For the 4 temporary shelters that are open for service, they are: the Ladkrabang Industrial Estate Office Conference Hall, Wat Thipphawas School, Lamphong School, and the Wat Thipphawas Community Child Development Center.
Ms. Thirat said, ‘Currently, officers are rushing to control the fire and smoke and are providing full assistance to those affected. We ask for the public’s cooperation to avoid the area where the incident occurred for safety and to ensure rapid action.’
