Bangkok: Tottenham Hotspur has signed Thai-American footballer Alice Sombath for a club-record fee. This move marks a significant milestone for the club's women's team as they continue to strengthen their squad.

According to Thai News Agency, the 22-year-old Sombath, who has Thai roots, has made headlines as the club's most expensive signing. Additionally, Tottenham has also acquired a French international player from Olympique Lyonnais for a reported fee of £375,000, which is approximately 16.8 million baht. This player has represented France from the youth level and was part of the senior team during Euro 2025 in Switzerland, where he played in all four matches, starting in three of them.
