Bangkok: Calling all those over 50! Embark on a journey to discover new joys in 17 provinces across central Thailand. Whether you go with family or friends, you'll have a fantastic time!

According to Thai News Agency, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has initiated the 'Feel Young Travel On - Bright Trips with a Young and Energetic Heart' project to promote travel in 17 provinces in central Thailand, specifically targeting an active senior demographic aged 50 and above. Ms. Wannapa Kiattipongsa, Regional Director for the Central Region, presided over the launch event, which took place on Sunday.

The event, held at Khao Mai Pla Man restaurant in Amphawa, Samut Songkhram province, saw the presence of key figures such as Ms. Supaphan Channgam, Director of the Central Region Marketing Division, and Mr. Chaiwit Phuean-udom, Director of the TAT Samut Songkhram Office. It was also attended by project partners and distinguished guests, highlighting a collaborative effort from various sectors to advance the Thai tourism industry.

Among the participants were Ms. Sirirat Kowanich, Chief Marketing Officer of the Credit Card Division at KTC, and Ms. Waranya Piyangsuwan, Senior Business Development Manager from ShopBack Thailand. Private sector partners, including Ha Takab Sim Tian Ho Co., Ltd. and the Hungry Hub platform, also supported the initiative, contributing to a memorable travel experience.

The project aims to invigorate tourism in 17 provinces near Bangkok, offering an ideal opportunity for short trips. It caters to the lifestyle needs of tourists seeking quality relaxation and enriching experiences, focusing on the concept of "Travel nearby, comfortable journey, good health, and meaningful fun."

Key activities include the "Kin Yang Jaew" (Eat Well, Enjoy!) promotion, which offers discounts at quality eateries, and "Travel is Great," featuring exclusive deals on accommodations, hotels, health spa services, and various workshops. The tourism routes prioritize comfort and safety while creating valuable cultural, community, and wellness experiences to stimulate spending and distribute income to local businesses sustainably.

Ms. Wannapha Kiattipongsa stated, "We intend for the 'Feel Young Travel On - A Vibrant Trip for a Young and Energetic Heart' project to be more than just a typical tourism promotion initiative. It's an invitation for everyone to experience every moment of happiness, or 'Feel All The Feelings,' through travel that focuses on self-care, spending time with loved ones, and creating meaningful new memories."

The TAT aims to boost the economy and sustainably support communities while inviting tourists, especially active seniors and families, to explore the charm of central Thailand and create joyful moments together. The project offers a chance for those who may have traveled extensively in their youth to rediscover the joy of travel, care for themselves, and build new memories with loved ones.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand warmly invites all travelers, particularly those aged 50 and above, and families seeking a relaxing getaway, to explore the 17 provinces in central Thailand. For more information, please visit their Facebook page: Feel Young Travel On.
