Traders Thank Prime Minister for Success of Half-Half Plus Scheme

Bangkok: Business operators extended their gratitude to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul for the successful implementation of the “Half-Half Plus” scheme, which has significantly boosted sales. They urged the Prime Minister to promptly initiate the second phase of the program. The Prime Minister acknowledged their request and emphasized the importance of selling high-quality products.

According to Thai News Agency, at 5:30 PM, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the Ministry of Finance and engaged with vendors at the Ministry of Finance Market. The vendors expressed their appreciation for the “Half-Half Plus” program, highlighting its role in increasing sales and invigorating the economy. In a gesture of goodwill, Prime Minister Anutin purchased cookies and fruit from the vendors, spending 2,000 baht of his own money.

Business operators expressed their desire for the continuation of the program with the launch of a second phase. Prime Minister Anutin assured them that the second phase must focus on maintaining high-quality standards.

In a subsequent interview, Mr. Anutin addressed the situation along the border, stating that it was consistent with his reports. When questioned about the potential cessation of the Thai-Cambodian Peace Declaration, he responded with, “We’ll see,” before proceeding to an economic cabinet meeting.
