According to Thai News Agency, Thailand is entering a critical period of agricultural transformation. The biggest pain point for Thai agriculture isn’t “production,” but “marketing,” which hasn’t been able to fully add value to its products. Even with improved production and increased technology adoption, farmers’ incomes haven’t grown accordingly due to a lack of professional marketing systems, standards, and branding skills. To address this problem concretely, Ms. Jutamas Tawong, organizer of the Smart Agri Growth Summit 2025, is launching Thailand’s first major event focused on creating a comprehensive “agricultural marketing system.” This system will connect producers, standards, technology, marketers, and buyers in one place, empowering farmers and entrepreneurs to “actually sell” their products and ensuring sustainable value addition for Thai agricultural produce.
The Smart Agri Growth Summit 2025 will be held on December 13-14, 2025, at the Grand Center Point Sukhumvit 55 Hotel, in collaboration with the Agricultural Commodity Standards Division – Department of Agriculture, a key agency responsible for issuing licenses, certifying standards, and setting quality requirements, which are crucial for accessing premium and export markets.
Ms. Chuthamas said, ‘We want to create a space where farmers have access to knowledge about standards, technology, and proper marketing. Because good marketing can increase the value of agricultural products many times over and help businesses grow sustainably without having to compete on price.’
