“War Elephants” get a warm-up match against “Lebanon-Laos”

The Thai national men's football team has a warm-up match schedule, meeting Lebanon and Laos in the FIFA Day game in November to prepare the team for the ASEAN Championship. The Football Association of Thailand has announced the schedule for the warm-up football matches of the Thai national men's football team according to the FIFA Day calendar in November. The first match on November 14th, the Thai national team, ranked 100th in the world, will meet Lebanon, ranked 114th in the world, at Thammasat University Stadium. And the second match on November 17th, the Thai national team will meet Laos, ranked 187th in the world, also at Thammasat University Stadium. The Football Associations of both countries have officially accepted the invitation to come to Thailand for a warm-up match. Laos was invited to come to Thailand for a warm-up match instead of Yemen, who had problems with team preparation and were unable to travel to Thailand for a warm-up match. For both matches, the association has submitted a reques t to the International Football Federation to register the matches as FIFA International 'A' Matches and to count the FIFA ranking points at Tier 1 level. Both events are warm-up matches to prepare the team for the 2024 ASEAN Championship, which will have its first match. Group A Thailand will visit Timor in Malaysia on December 9.
