Bangkok: Yotsingh extends New Year greetings, wishing the industry to be reliable and a source of support for the people. Petty Officer First Class Yotsing Liemlert, Deputy Minister of Industry, received a delegation of executives, civil servants from the Ministry of Industry, and related agencies to extend New Year greetings for 2026. The delegation included Mr. Peerawas Somwong, Secretary to the Deputy Minister; Mr. Warach Durongkapittaya, Advisor to the Deputy Minister; Mr. Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry; Ms. Nattiya Netayasupa, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion; and Mr. Sumet Tangprasert, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), who assigned Ms. Buppha Kawinwasin, Deputy Governor (Sustainable Development), to represent IEAT in extending New Year greetings for 2026.
According to Thai News Agency, Chief Petty Officer Yotsing offered auspicious blessings for the work and provided encouragement to the personnel of the Ministry of Industry and its affiliated agencies. He thanked all sectors for working together with a "shared goal" under the "Reliable Industry" policy, aiming to make the Ministry of Industry a reliable resource for the people and a pillar for the Thai industrial system, both small and large, while simultaneously protecting the public and the environment. "Because all of this is about creating balance" for the stable and sustainable growth of the Thai industrial economy.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister emphasized to senior executives and civil servants that they "do not need to be intimidated by dark influences outside the ministry," urging them to prioritize "righteousness over personal preference," and stressing that unity within the ministry is key to successful work. He likened it to being in a pack of wolves, acknowledging that there may be some "scratches" or wounds, but stressed the importance of extricating oneself from that cycle and never giving up, because "righteousness will always triumph over injustice."
