A woman posted a warning after being threatened by a rider.

Khon Kaen, A woman warned of a late-night ride back to her dorm after she called a rider to take her back to her dorm. However, the rider tried to harass her, made flirtatious remarks, and asked to go up to her room. She submitted evidence to the Khon Kaen City Police Station to track down the rider and take legal action. A Facebook user posted a video clip of an incident where a GrabCar driver tried to use threatening and sexual language on her after the woman called for a rider to return to her dorm. The message reads: 'Warning! On Monday the 29th, I went out and drank a lot. But I was still conscious. At around 4:42 a.m., I called a rider to take me back to my accommodation. But I didn't feel safe with this driver. When we got to my accommodation, he refused to go back. He tried to invite me to drink and tried to ask to use the bathroom. He tried to get me to my room. I tried to be nice and talk to him because I was very scared. I tried to survive. I didn't want this to just pass by. But I didn't know w hat to do. Because what I was afraid of hasn't happened yet. But if it happens like I think it will, I will be bored with life. Warning!! To my friends and younger sisters who are women.' After this post was published, many people commented and criticized the inappropriate behavior of this rider. Yesterday afternoon, Ms. Eye (pseudonym), 20 years old, the person who posted the clip, brought evidence to file a report with the investigation officer at Khon Kaen City Police Station so that the police can investigate and find the rider and prosecute him. After reporting the incident, Ms. Eye said that she went drinking with friends in Khon Kaen city. She admitted that she was drunk but still conscious. Then, she called for a rider to return to her accommodation, which was in the Bueng Thung Sang area, about 3 km from her accommodation. The fare was 113 baht. She had used riders many times and nothing bad had ever happened. Until the rider she called to pick her up, she knew the driver's name because the app li sted the driver's name and the car's license plate. It was a white sedan. As soon as she got in the car, the driver started talking flirtatiously and invited her to drink the liquor that the rider had brought in the car. She also saw that while driving, the driver picked up a bottle of liquor to drink. And the most frightening incident was when the car reached the edge of Bueng Thung Sang. The driver pulled over on the side of the road and told her to sit in the front seat. He tried to touch her body. So, she tried to talk nicely to him even though she was very scared. When I refused, the driver drove on, but he stopped at least 3 more times along the way and kept inviting me to drink alcohol with him the whole way. When I arrived at my accommodation, the driver asked to go up to his room to use the restroom. I refused, but the driver was still persistent. He offered to give me a bottle of water instead of the fare and tried to get me to go up to his room. At that time, there were no residents or tenants in the area. I took the opportunity when the driver was not paying attention and called my friend in the dorm to come down and help me. While I was going up to my room, the driver still refused to leave the dorm. The reason I decided to post this story is to warn other riders, especially women who have to travel at night, and I want the service provider to take legal action against this driver to the fullest extent of the law, because he is a danger to society and may cause trouble for other female customers.
