Bangkok: Air Phanthila, the well-known TV host, has openly confirmed her pregnancy with a second child after undergoing scientific fertility testing. She shared that the successful embryo transfer took place in December 2025, leading to an immediate conception.
According to Thai News Agency, Air had recently revealed to Nine Entertainment her plans for a second child. On the morning of February 10, 2026, she joyfully announced her pregnancy on social media. She later explained to Nine Entertainment that she had been waiting for an auspicious date to share the news, initially intending to announce it after the parliamentary elections on February 9th. However, she decided not to delay further, as she felt the timing was right. She is currently nearing her third month of pregnancy.
Air also shared insights about her eldest daughter, Thilar's reaction to the news. She frequently shows Thilar pictures from when she was pregnant with her, explaining that she was once in her belly too. Thilar, filled with curiosity, often listens to her mother's belly, asking questions about the new baby. Air expressed the need to be cautious due to Thilar's energetic nature, as her doctor advised against lifting her too often to avoid straining her stomach.
For this pregnancy, Air candidly admitted to using scientific methods to conceive. Preparation began in November 2025, with egg collection in October-November and the embryo transfer completed in December. Despite the rapid success, Air confessed to having initial worries due to age-related risks, with her doctor emphasizing that certainty is never guaranteed. Both she and her husband experienced anxiety about the baby's health, leading to sleepless nights during the early stages. The baby's gender remains a closely guarded secret for now.
Air's second pregnancy has been challenging, marked by severe symptoms such as dizziness and shortness of breath. She humorously shared her fears of being caught on air during bouts of nausea and her reliance on smelling salts. With altered self-care routines, she has shifted to wearing flat shoes to prevent uterine contractions and follows her doctor's dietary advice meticulously.
