Anutin Charnvirakul Dismisses Cabinet Reshuffle Speculations, Emphasizes Party’s Commitment to Public Service

Bangkok: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, has addressed rumors regarding a potential cabinet reshuffle, asserting that he is content with his current role and has never felt undermined in his position. Anutin, who is also the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, clarified that there have been no discussions or indications from the Prime Minister about any impending changes in the cabinet.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin stated that the Bhumjaithai Party is responsible for overseeing four ministries and is functioning effectively. He emphasized that the Prime Minister has not mentioned any reshuffles and has instead focused on strengthening the government. Anutin expressed his support for the Prime Minister and highlighted their strong working relationship. He also mentioned that Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has affirmed their long-term collaboration.

Anutin further elaborated on his approach to his political role, likening it to a football player on the field, unaffected by external criticisms. He stressed the importance of hard work and delivering results, hoping this would be recognized by the public, potentially leading to increased support for the Bhumjaithai Party.

Discussing the party’s future, Anutin highlighted the need to involve the younger generation more actively, allowing them to take on significant roles. He acknowledged the experience of the older generation but emphasized the importance of stepping back to allow new leaders to emerge and serve the public effectively. The Bhumjaithai Party, he noted, is open to innovation and new ideas, with a commitment to discussing and implementing them to benefit the people.

Addressing competition, Anutin remarked that he does not view other parties as rivals but rather focuses on self-improvement and fulfilling promises to the public. He underscored the importance of staying connected with constituents and delivering on commitments, acknowledging the public as the true benefactors and leaders.
