Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, concluded his one-day trip by exploring Chinatown's bustling streets in a tuk-tuk as part of a campaign for Lalida Periswiwatana, the party's candidate for MP in Constituency 1. During the visit, he engaged with locals and tourists, and enjoyed popular street foods such as satay and gyoza.
According to Thai News Agency, the trip marked the final campaign stop for Mr. Anutin and the Bhumjaithai Party team in Bangkok. The entourage, which included party candidates and leaders, arrived at Wat Mangkon Kamalawat via an electric tuk-tuk to support their candidate, Ms. Lalida, for the upcoming elections. At the temple, Mr. Anutin paid respects to sacred objects and interacted with an elderly woman in Chinese, highlighting his party's number, 37.
Mr. Anutin continued his campaign by walking along Plaeng Nam Road, engaging with vendors, shoppers, and tourists. His interactions included conversations in various languages, embracing the multicultural atmosphere of the area. A memorable exchange occurred when a vendor asked him to maintain his efforts, to which Mr. Anutin responded with a promise to improve.
