Hat yai: The Thai Kao Mai Party is prepared to dispatch a caravan loaded with essential supplies, including drinking water, to Hat Yai as part of efforts to aid recovery following a recent crisis.
According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Ae Suchatvee Suwansawat, the leader of the Thai Kao Mai Party, announced that the party has amassed a variety of donations. These include drinking water, rice, canned and ready-to-eat meals, Halal meals, survival kits, mattresses, pillows, basic medicines, and necessary cleaning supplies such as brooms and mops. Items like baby and adult diapers are also part of the aid package.
Efforts to address the aftermath of flooding in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, are underway, with water levels reportedly receding. Assistance is being provided at multiple sites, but there remains a significant need for food and essential supplies among affected residents.
The Thai Kao Mai Party will continue to accept donations until 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 28th. Following this, they plan to deliver aid to the three southern border provinces that have been severely impacted by the flooding.
Donations can be sent to the Thai Kao Mai Party Coordination Center located at the I Tower Building on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Chatuchak, Bangkok. A large truck, easily identifiable, is stationed there for collection. For inquiries, individuals can contact 0835374327.
