Tokyo: Ariana Grande recently gave an interview to Vogue Japan, reflecting on her 17-year journey in the entertainment industry. From her rise to stardom as the red-haired actress in the series Victorious, to becoming a singer with memorable performances and a unique voice, and her acclaimed acting career with her role as Glinda in Wicked, she shared her experiences.
According to Thai News Agency, with tears in her eyes, she expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming success and love that audiences have given her in the role of Glinda. She felt that this was the first time in her career that her work and her artistry had truly been recognized through her performances in Wicked and Eternal Sunshine.
She said, "I feel like there have been many times when I created my best work, but my fame overshadowed that work."
She also expressed gratitude to the women who were behind her and by her side throughout her life: her late grandmother, with her unwavering advice to "just let it go," as well as her mother, Joan Grande. She said her mother was always there for her, reminding her of her worth as an artist and as a human being, whenever criticism nearly brought her down.
She concluded with an inspiring message for women around the world: 'I want every woman to feel beautiful and valuable at every moment and in every aspect of life, no matter what happens. It is our right to grow, change, learn, and enjoy life while still feeling beautiful at every step.'
Ariana Grande continues her acting career by taking on the lead role in Focker-In-Law, the sequel to the legendary comedy film Meet the Parents, opposite Ben Stiller, and also appearing in the new season of American Horror Story, which features a star-studded cast. She also hinted at plans to return to the stage soon.
