According to Thai News Agency, a Facebook user named Eaksak Soemsri posted a video depicting Bryde's whales feeding on fish and playing together near Khao Sam Muk and Bang Saen beach. This prompted a reporter to visit Laem Taen on Bang Saen beach, where they met Mr. Eaksak Soemsri, also known as Tai Kao, the 50-year-old owner of the post. He shared that this year, 13 Bryde's whales have been sighted, surpassing the numbers from the previous year. The largest whale observed this year is comparable in size to a minibus and weighs nearly 2 tons.
