Bangkok: The cabinet meeting recently concluded without addressing the issue of the election. The Cabinet Secretary avoided questions about the budget allocation for a potential new election, should the current one be deemed invalid, stating that the topic was not discussed during the meeting.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Natthajaree Anantasilsin, Secretary-General of the Cabinet, highlighted that there has been no discussion within the Cabinet regarding the election. This includes concerns about the validity of the election due to issues like the barcode/QR code on the ballots. Ms. Anantasilsin suggested that the government should be consulted on the matter of funding for a new election in the event of invalidation.
