Canadian Prime Minister Criticizes Global Powers at World Economic Forum

Davos: The Canadian leader stated that the superpowers have already destroyed the world order. Canadian leaders used the World Economic Forum to make sharp remarks about the turbulent global situation caused by the abuse of power by major world powers.

According to Thai News Agency, the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, is under global scrutiny amidst the conflict between US President Donald Trump and several European nations over Greenland. On the second day of the forum, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney addressed the current global order, stating that powerful nations are using economic power as a weapon, employing tariffs as leverage, employing financial systems to intimidate, and manipulating supply chains against other countries. While he didn't specify countries, his remarks were clearly an attack on the Trump administration's policies, such as the use of tariffs to pressure Europe in order to seize Greenland. He also noted that Canada is one of the first countries to face the reality that its long-standing allies can no longer guarantee security and prosperity. Therefore, he called on medium-sized nations to join forces, otherwise they will become subservient. Canada will collaborate with these other countries to create an alternative co alition based on shared interests and values.

Today, Mr. Trump is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Davos summit, where he is expected to reiterate his stance on Greenland and announce numerous "America First" foreign policy directives, which the world considers to be disrupting the global order. Meanwhile, European leaders who have been threatened by Mr. Trump are expected to express a unified stance.
