Almeria: Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese football superstar, has officially made history off the field after becoming a co-shareholder of Almeria, a club in the Spanish Segunda Divisi³n, with a 25 percent stake through his company, CR7 Sports Investments.
According to Thai News Agency, the 41-year-old footballer, who recently committed his future to Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, expressed excitement about the new challenge after moving from a player role to a full-time management role.
Although no official investment figure has been disclosed, Ronaldo's acquisition of shares came about a year after Almeria was taken over by a Saudi Arabian investment group. He has a strong relationship with Mohammed Al-Khereiji, the lead investor in the acquisition, and was a key figure in facilitating Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr.
