Bangkok: Ekanat Promphan, a prominent figure in the Bhumjaithai Party, spearheaded a campaign at the Ladprao Saphan 2 market alongside Mr. Pradermchai Boonchuaylue, the party's candidate for Constituency 5. Their efforts aimed to promote the "Half-Price Plus" policy and address border security concerns, receiving enthusiastic responses from the public.
According to Thai News Agency, Ekanat, who leads the Bangkok campaign team for the Bhumjaithai Party, engaged with vendors and shoppers at the market, fostering a lively and interactive atmosphere. Supporters and well-wishers greeted the team with flowers, expressing strong support for the continuation of the "Half-Price Plus" co-payment scheme, which they credited for significantly boosting the local economy.
Ekanat noted the vibrant post-New Year environment at Saphan Song Market, where many recognized him from his previous affiliations with the Democrat Party and Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party. He urged voters to support the Bhumjaithai Party, highlighting two key policies that have garnered positive feedback: the "National Defence" policy aimed at maintaining border security, and the "Half-Price Plus" scheme to stimulate economic growth.
Further emphasizing the party's appeal, Ekanat mentioned that a significant portion of Bangkok's electorate, around 40-50%, remains undecided. He stressed the importance of diligent campaigning by party candidates to showcase their policies and work methods. Ekanat highlighted the inclusion of three professionals in the government: Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphas, Ms. Supajee Suthamphan, and Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, who hold strategic ministerial roles crucial for national development.
