Bangkok: Ekniti Nitithanprapas, along with members of the Bhumjaithai Party, led a tour through Siam Square to engage with young people and discuss the 10 Plus economic policies aimed at strengthening Thailand's economy and its citizens.
According to Thai News Agency, the Bhumjaithai Party leaders, including Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, campaign assistant; Ms. Suphamas Isarabhakdi, campaign manager for Bangkok areas; Mr. Kriangyos Sudlapa, list candidate; Ms. Sasithorn Kittithorakun, list candidate; and Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri, list candidate, campaigned in support of Dr. Patcharin Samsiripong, Bangkok's candidate for the Sathorn-Pathumwan-Ratchathewi district, number 4, at Siam Square. The event was lively, with numerous people approaching to engage in conversations and take photos.
In addition, a discussion titled "Let's Chat with P'Ek" was held at the Dalmatian restaurant in Siam Square. The conversation involved students and young entrepreneurs and covered topics such as finance, government roles, the environment, technology, and Thailand's future. Questions were raised about the outlook for Thailand's economy over the next 3-5 years, particularly for the new generation graduating from university.
Mr. Ekanit emphasized the need for Thailand to enhance the skills of its people despite its small population. He highlighted the importance of attracting talented individuals to work in Thailand and ensuring that systems are in place to support this. He addressed concerns about AI replacing jobs, stating that AI could be an invaluable tool if used and controlled properly. The Bhumjaithai Party's "Education Equality Plus" policy aims to remove limitations in Thai education, while their "Green Economy Plus" policy encourages foreign investment in clean energy.
Mr. Ekniti outlined the Bhumjaithai Party's 10 Plus economic policy, which includes Community Plus and a green economy focus. He stressed the importance of investing in people, enhancing skills, and reforming regulations to support economic growth. He also highlighted the necessity of strengthening communities, employing senior citizens, and attracting large businesses to invest in Thailand. A strong Thai economy, he stated, is crucial for the well-being of its people, aligning with the 10 Plus policy.
