Bangkok: The Chairman of the Election Commission has officially signed the announcement detailing the political parties that have registered candidates for Member of Parliament positions and the prime ministerial post. Mr. Narong Kranwarin, serving as Chairman, affirmed the list of political parties that submitted candidates for the proportional representation system within the House of Representatives. This includes both the list of party-list MPs and the candidates nominated for consideration as Prime Minister.

According to Thai News Agency, the list comprises 57 political parties that have filed applications for party-list MPs. Notable entries include Thai Sapthawee Party with 3 candidates, Phuea Chat Thai Party with 6 candidates, and Mai Party with 41 candidates. The Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party and Pheua Thai Party have both registered 100 candidates each. Meanwhile, the Economic Party has 63 members, while the Liberal Thai Party lists 43.

Additional parties and their respective members include the People's Power Party with 12 candidates, Local Thai Party with 8, and Future Thai Party with 1 candidate. Other entries include the Thai Power for Thailand Party with 4 candidates, Thai Chana Party with 28, and New Social Power Party with 4 candidates.

The announcement also highlights several political groups represented by various parties: Thai People's Party with 41 candidates, New Vision Party with 28, and New Life Party with 4. The Democrat Party has registered a substantial 98 candidates, while the Bhumjaithai Party lists 97 candidates.

Further details include the New Opportunity Party with 33 members, the Justice Party with 23, and the People's Party with a significant 99 candidates. The Thai Building Thailand Party and the Thai New Progress Party have registered 79 and 60 members respectively. Lastly, the Thai Pitak Tham Party has 10 members, and the New Hope Party has 8.
