Government Initiative Supports Mobile Vendors with Subsidies and New Sales Channels

Bangkok: The government has announced the launch of a nationwide project designed to aid mobile vendors by reducing operational costs and expanding sales channels for affordable products. Applications for this initiative will be open from May 1-7, 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, the government, via the Ministry of Interior, is encouraging mobile vendors across the nation to join the "Thai Helps Thai" project. The initiative is focused on lessening the financial burden on vendors and the cost of living for citizens by enhancing the mobile vendor network. This project aims to empower small retailers in delivering affordable goods directly to communities, including remote areas.

The project offers governmental support in two primary areas: subsidizing fuel costs to alleviate operating expenses and providing affordable products for vendors to sell to the public. This support is designed to ensure that mobile vendors can offer their products at reasonable prices.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating can apply online from May 1st at 8:30 AM until May 7th at 11:59 PM, regardless of public holidays, through the website https://mobilemarket.bora.dopa.go.th.

Applicants are required to verify their identity at their local district office or with their village headman/chief between May 1st and 8th, 2026. Additional information is available at district offices nationwide, and the results will be announced on May 12th, 2026.
