Ink and Her Husband Visit Former Prime Minister Thaksin at Klong Prem Central Prison

Bangkok: Former Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, known as Ing, and her husband, Pitak Sukhsawat, or Por, visited her father, Thaksin Shinawatra, who is currently incarcerated at Klong Prem Central Prison. Thaksin's lawyer, Winyat Chatmontri, also accompanied them during the visit. Supporters of the Red Shirt movement gathered outside the prison, expressing their support for the Pheu Thai Party.

According to Thai News Agency, after spending approximately 30 minutes with her father, Ms. Paetongtarn mentioned that she decided to leave early because her father was not feeling well. She noted that her father had attended a cooking class earlier that morning but observed that he seemed unwell and suggested he should rest.

When questioned about the positive poll results for Dr. Yoschanan Wongsawat as the election approaches, Ms. Paetongtarn laughed and commented, "It's good. My father continues to encourage me as always. There's nothing new."

Regarding the momentum of the "Gen Z For Pheuthai" movement, Ms. Paetongtarn stated that she had not discussed it with her father. However, she expressed personal satisfaction with the movement, recalling her recent interactions with them in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai during her campaign, describing them as very lovely.
