Bangkok: Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) has clarified that its two contracts have not been canceled following reports that the Prime Minister ordered their suspension due to the crane collapse involving a passenger train on Rama 2 Road.
According to Thai News Agency, ITD issued a statement to the Board of Directors and the President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) addressing news that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul had ordered the cancellation of two of its construction projects. These projects were linked to a crane collapse incident involving a passenger train and an incident on Rama 2 Road. ITD emphasized that both contracts remain valid, and the company is continuing to fulfill its contractual obligations. Furthermore, ITD has not received any official cancellation order from any relevant authority.
ITD also assured that if there are any updates or changes to the current order, the company will promptly inform the Stock Exchange of Thailand to ensure transparency and keep investors and the public informed.
