London: King Charles V has expressed his willingness to assist the police in their investigation into serious allegations against his younger brother, former Prince Andrew. These allegations involve the unauthorized sharing of classified government documents.

According to Thai News Agency, the case surfaced following revelations in the Jeffrey Epstein case, which involved a businessman convicted of child molestation and sexual abuse. Documents indicated that former Prince Andrew, now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, allegedly provided classified trade and investment information to Epstein nearly two decades ago while he was serving as a special envoy for the British government. In addition to facing sexual abuse charges and losing his royal title, he is now under scrutiny for allegedly leaking state secrets for personal benefit.

In light of these developments, King Charles III has publicly addressed the situation for the first time. A spokesperson for the palace confirmed that the King is deeply troubled by the allegations against former Prince Andrew and that the palace is prepared to assist the police if necessary.

Prince William, currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia, has also issued a statement expressing his concern over the unfolding case. Meanwhile, former Prince Andrew has remained silent, refusing to engage with the media and asserting that his name appearing in Epstein-related documents does not imply any wrongdoing.
