Trat: Marines successfully reclaimed the Ban Tha Sen-Kasino Thmodha area in Trat province, eliminating Cambodian military strongholds. The Thai side is safe with no casualties.
According to Thai News Agency, Rear Admiral Parach Rattanachaiyapan, spokesperson for the Royal Thai Navy, revealed that the Royal Thai Navy, through the Chanthaburi and Trat Border Protection Command, has successfully regained control and reclaimed the area around Ban Tha Sen, Chamrak Subdistrict, Mueang Trat District, including the Thmodah Casino building, after discovering that Cambodian troops had illegally established a base in the area.
The operation revealed that the Cambodian side was using the casino building as a command base. As a result, the situation was brought under control and the target area was completely seized without any civilian impact. The Thai side suffered no casualties or injuries, and a quantity of weapons and equipment belonging to the opposing side was seized. These items are currently being examined and compiled as evidence according to military and legal procedures.
The Royal Thai Navy confirmed that the operation was conducted to protect national sovereignty, maintain border security, and uphold international law. The public was asked to follow news from official sources and refrain from disseminating information that may affect national security.
