Pattaya: A mysterious man set off fireworks at a karaoke bar, causing a disturbance to local residents early in the morning. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident unfolded around 4 AM in front of sign number 55A at Super Star KTV Club, situated on Pattaya South Road in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. The unexpected fireworks display created a commotion among nearby residents, prompting an investigation by Pattaya City Police. At the scene, authorities discovered two large boxes of ignited fireworks and burn marks in front of the establishment.

CCTV footage revealed an unidentified man approaching the karaoke bar, attempting to obscure the camera with a bag, which subsequently fell, capturing the act on film. The footage showed the man igniting fireworks, some of which struck the shop's glass window, before fleeing the scene just ahead of the police's arrival.

In response to the incident, police have initially detained the shop manager for questioning regarding potential internal disputes within the shop that might have provoked the fireworks incident. The authorities are committed to expediting the investigation in order to uncover the exact cause behind this early morning disturbance.
