NACC Reveals Assets of New Ombudsman Pol. Gen. Sarayuth Worth 474 Million Baht

Bangkok: The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has released the asset declaration of Police General Sarayuth Songkhlaphokai, revealing his net worth at 474 million baht, following his appointment as the new Ombudsman.

According to Thai News Agency, the NACC disclosed that Police General Sarayuth, along with his spouse Ms. Suthasinee, declared total assets amounting to 474,915,963 baht. The liabilities were limited to an overdraft of 38 satang. The assets of Police General Sarayuth include bank deposits of 1,503,764 baht, investments of 413,003 baht, land valued at 4,425,000 baht, five vehicles valued at 2,330,000 baht, and other assets worth 387,900 baht.

His reported total annual income stands at 1,303,356 baht, comprising a police salary from January to March 2025 of 365,616 baht, a pension from April to December 2025 amounting to 483,840 baht, and a salary from October to December 2025 totaling 453,900 baht. His total annual expenses reached 1,320,000 baht, covering personal expenses, consumption costs, and support for his mother.

Ms. Suthasinee, who is the Managing Director of three companies, declared total assets valued at 465,856,294 baht. Her assets include bank deposits of 3,348,085 baht, investments of 84,866,849 baht, and 16 plots of land primarily in Nonthaburi, Tak, Lampang, and Chiang Mai valued at 262,930,750 baht. Additionally, she owns six buildings and structures worth 52.3 million baht, four vehicles including a Bentley valued at 21,308,411 baht, rights and concessions worth 2,040,198 baht, and other assets worth 29,062,000 baht.

While Ms. Suthasinee did not disclose her annual income, she reported annual expenses totaling 5,227,208 baht, which include personal expenses, consumer goods, life insurance premiums, children's tuition, and support for her mother.

Among the couple's notable assets are nine firearms, 95 designer handbags, five amulets, and twelve items of jewelry, including rings and watches.

Before his appointment as Ombudsman, Pol. Gen. Sarayuth held several key positions within the Royal Thai Police, including roles as Deputy Commander of Provincial Police Region 7 and Commander of the Narcotics Suppression Police.
