Pattaya Songkran Festival 2026 Begins with Enthusiastic Crowds

Pattaya: The "Pattaya Songkran Festival" commenced with great enthusiasm as visitors eagerly secured spots in front of the stage early in the day. The event attracted both Thai and international tourists to Pattaya Beach for the "Songkran Lai Pattaya 2026" celebration. Attendees arrived early, setting up camp in front of the stage under the hot sun, eager for the concert performances by their favorite artists.

According to Thai News Agency, the festival's first day featured lively performances from renowned artists, including Tattoo Colour, Ink Waruntorn, 4EVE, and Jeff Satur, captivating the audience with their talent. The festival, organized by Pattaya City, promises three days of entertainment, running from April 17-19, 2026. It includes spectacular lights, sounds, and activities across four main stages along the beach. These stages are strategically located near Soi 5, the Mono zone, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, Nipa Hall, and Soi 13.

A significant highlight of the festival is April 19th, Pattaya's Songkran Day, when traffic will be closed from noon to midnight. This measure allows locals and tourists to fully enjoy the water festivities. To ensure safety and smooth traffic flow, Pattaya City has deployed 803 officers. Special service lanes have been created to assist with emergencies and provide peace of mind to festival-goers throughout the event.
