Pheu Thai Candidates Launch Campaign Parade After Drawing Ballot Number 9

Bangkok: The three Pheu Thai prime ministerial candidates immediately boarded a campaign vehicle after drawing ballot number 9. They embarked on a vibrant campaign parade to meet with residents in the Lak Si district and the Thung Song Hong housing estate in Don Mueang district, rallying support for candidates Surachat and Phumiphat.

According to Thai News Agency, after the registration of proportional representation candidates and the drawing of party numbers, Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, successfully drew number 9. The prime ministerial candidates, led by Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, and Mr. Suriya Jungrungruangkit, set off from the Government Complex in Chaeng Wattana. Their journey took them to Keha Thung Song Hong in Lak Si district, where they campaigned for Mr. Surachart Thianthong, the party's candidate for the Lak Si-Chatuchak district, who holds candidate number 5. The public and supporters greeted them warmly, eagerly requesting photos and cheering.

Continuing their campaign, the candidates proceeded to the Thung Song Hong housing estate in Don Mueang district. Here, they campaigned for Mr. Phumiphat Hosakul, candidate number 5 for Member of Parliament in Don Mueang district, receiving an enthusiastic welcome from local residents and supporters.

Mr. Chulaphan addressed the crowd, emphasizing the Pheu Thai Party's commitment to alleviating debt, reducing expenses, and implementing a flat-rate electric train system priced at 20 baht per trip. The party is also focused on advancing education and human development, with a key policy titled "Guaranteed Education, Guaranteed Job Upon Graduation," which offers a 10,000 baht stipend for four years of study, along with a guaranteed job after graduation. He encouraged voters to support the Pheu Thai Party in the upcoming election on February 8th, 2026.

During the campaign rally at Thung Song Hong housing estate, Mr. Karun Hosakul, affiliated with the Kla Tham Party and father of Mr. Bhumipat, attended to support his son, engaging with the public and offering encouragement.
