Bangkok: The Pheu Thai Party held its first MOONSHOT FORUM under the theme “Revamping the 30 Baht Scheme with AI: Better Care, Better Lives, Better Deaths.” Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, head of the Pheu Thai family, and Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Chiang Mai MP and leader of the Pheu Thai Party, attended the event.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn opened the event, expressing her honor and slight nervousness, noting that great changes often start with simple questions about improving people’s lives. She emphasized that change is driven by people’s dreams and experiences rather than just numbers or research. She highlighted the importance of dreams with goals, citing the successful 30-baht universal healthcare scheme as an example of a policy born from collective vision, which significantly improved the lives of Thai people by providing essential healthcare without financial burden.
Ms. Paethongtarn reiterated the importance of technology in enhancing policies to be more effective and accessible, stressing that the challenges today are primarily technological and AI-related. She urged for the creation of policies that dare to dream beyond limits, as the Pheu Thai Party aims to develop viable policies that benefit people’s lives fundamentally.
