Bangkok: Pheu Thai Party opens a donation center and packs flood relief supplies. “Kor Kaew” reveals that 1,400 relief bags have arrived in Songkhla and are ready for distribution to the public.
According to Thai News Agency, the Pheu Thai Party is collecting donations from those wishing to help flood victims in the South from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the party headquarters. Since the morning, many people have brought food and essential items to donate. Pheu Thai Party leaders were present to receive the donations, led by Mr. Chulphan Amornvivat, party leader, along with Mr. Suriya Jungrungreangkit, Pheu Thai Party Election Director, Mr. Chusak Sirinil, deputy party leader, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, party leader, Mr. Pongkawin Jungrungreangkit, deputy party leader, Mr. Chakkraphong Sangmanee, deputy party leader, and Dr. Sriyada Palimaphun, party registrar.
Including those who have applied to run for MP elections, who have collected donations from various areas to donate and help pack consumer goods, including Mr. Surachat Thianthong, former MP for Bangkok; Mr. Saransan Wirakulsunthon, former advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. David Makarapong, who has applied to run for MP elections for Bangkok; Mr. Sahasawat Wiramongkolkul, who has applied to run for MP elections for Bangkok; Mr. Noppawit Thaithae, who has applied to run for MP elections for Bangkok; and Mr. Phongsakorn Rattanaruangwattana. Ms. Penphisut Jintasophon, Ms. Saowanee Kongwutthipanya, Ms. Oratchaporn Kongwutthipanya, Ms. Prawet Saengsuk, Ms. Bunyakorn Damrongrat, Ms. Rattikarn Kaewkerdmee, Bangkok City Council Member, etc. In addition, there were also representatives of the Northerners Association of Thailand who joined in donating money to help flood victims.
Mr. Ko Kaew Phikunthong, Deputy Leader of the Pheu Thai Party and Party-list MP responsible for the southern region, has delivered 1,400 relief bags from the Pheu Thai Party to Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. They have been handed over to Mr. Atthachan Chaowanich, a Pheu Thai Party representative, and his team for urgent distribution to the people of Hat Yai and surrounding areas. The Pheu Thai Party will continue its work uninterrupted until the flooding situation in the South improves, as it cares for all its citizens.
In addition to donated items, the public can also contribute through the “Disaster Reconstruction Fund” at Bangkok Bank, Central Pinklao Branch, account number 909-3-00509-9 (current account). The Pheu Thai Party is only the public relations and intermediary for receiving items. All donations are deposited directly into the bank account.
The Pheu Thai Party confirms that all donations will be sent to those affected as quickly as possible and thanks the public for their support during this crisis.
