Pita Advocates for People’s Party at Energetic Samyan Mitrtown Rally

Bangkok: Pita took the stage at a People's Party rally at Samyan Mitrtown. The People's Party's rally, held at Samyan Mitrtown, drew a large crowd of young attendees as former Move Forward Party leader Pita Thaksin Shinawatra addressed the gathering. Pita urged young voters to support the People's Party and advocate for Nattapong Weerasethakul for the position of Prime Minister.

According to Thai News Agency, the rally began at 4:00 PM, featuring lawyer Sasinan Thammanitthinan, a parliamentary candidate from Sai Mai district. She spoke about her education-focused policies, aiming to alleviate teachers' classroom burdens and enhance learning by encouraging students to explore subjects of their interest outside traditional settings.

Following her, Benz Narupol Lertpanyaroj, a candidate for Member of Parliament in Constituency 7, Bang Bon, outlined his commitment to promoting clean air and tackling the PM2.5 pollution issue. He proposed reducing the import and usage of products contributing to PM2.5, collaborating with ASEAN countries to lower pollution levels, and transitioning public transportation to electric vehicles with a starting fare of 8 baht.

Bank Suphanat Meenchainan, advocating for votes under number 46, reinforced his dedication to clean energy policies. He vowed to convert all public transport to electric vehicles if his party forms a government, aiming to address public health concerns related to PM2.5.

Jorjan Ekkarat Udom-amnuay, running for Member of Parliament in Don Mueang district, number 6, emphasized the need for public health reforms. He highlighted plans to overhaul the National Health Security Office system and streamline bureaucratic processes to ensure equitable healthcare access.

Meanwhile, Pita Limjaroenrat, former Move Forward Party leader, engaged with the young audience, encouraging them to vote for the People's Party to support Nattapong Ruangpanyavuth for Prime Minister and facilitate the establishment of a single-party government.
