Pitak Sukhsawat Visits Thaksin Shinawatra at Bangkok Prison

Bangkok: “Pitak” Sukhsawat, the husband of Paetongtarn Shinawatra, represented the Shinawatra family during a visit to former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra at Klong Prem Central Prison. After the visit, Mr. Pitak emerged to greet Thaksin’s former Montfort School classmates, expressing gratitude on behalf of Thaksin for their support and making the trip from Chiang Mai. He advised them to take care of their health and practice deep breathing, acknowledging the bonds from their shared school days.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pitak took photos with the group, extending well-wishes for Christmas and the New Year, and offered a bow of thanks. In a brief media interaction, he conveyed Thaksin’s happiness at the support from friends and shared updates about Thaksin’s grandchildren.

Regarding the prison’s New Year and Christmas activities, Mr. Pitak mentioned he was unaware of the details, as Thaksin had not discussed them, but anticipated they might talk about it after the celebrations.
