Bangkok: Pol. Gen. Ruttapol has expressed uncertainty regarding his continuation as Minister of Justice, indicating that no one has approached him about the matter. His statement came during an interview at a Bhumjaithai Party meeting, where he addressed questions from reporters about his future in the ministry.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Gen. Ruttapol stated that he is unaware of whether he will remain in his current position and has not been contacted about it. The Minister of Justice appeared non-committal when asked about any forthcoming clarity on the issue, responding only with a nod.
In addition to his uncertain future, Pol. Gen. Ruttapol addressed inquiries regarding Mr. Chanonphat Naksua, a Member of Parliament from Songkhla Province representing the Kla Tham Party. Mr. Chanonphat is implicated in an online gambling case and appeared at the Department of Special Investigation to acknowledge the charges. Pol. Gen. Ruttapol noted that the interrogation is ongoing, and more information will be available once the investigating officer submits their preliminary report.
