Surin: Bualoy, the suspect who fatally shot his stepmother with a shotgun, has been taken to the scene for a reenactment. He claimed he was enraged after being insulted with remarks about his own mother. During the reenactment, Bualoy knelt and apologized to the family, expressing remorse and willingness to accept the consequences, amidst curses from the villagers.
According to Thai News Agency, this morning, before the reenactment, police at Thung Mon Police Station in Surin Province held a meeting to assess whether it was possible to bring Mr. Mana, or Bualoy, 39, who used a shotgun to shoot his stepmother, Mrs. Phen, 62, to the scene for a reenactment. This was due to the heinous and brutal nature of the crime, which has deeply shocked the victim's family and the local community.
During the reenactment, police risked taking Mr. Bualoy to the scene to point out the location where he used the shotgun. At one point, Bualoy knelt and begged for forgiveness for his actions, admitting he acted out of anger and rage because the deceased had insulted his own mother while they were drinking. He also stated that he accepted the consequences of his actions. Throughout the reenactment and the pointing out of the shooting location, villagers periodically cursed and hurled insults at him. However, when reporters tried to ask Bualoy if he was remorseful, wanted to apologize, or wanted to say anything to his deceased stepmother, he only nodded and said nothing.
At the house where the incident occurred, police found large piles of bottles of white liquor and energy drinks. They also provided additional information that before bringing Bualoy to the scene for the reenactment, he had been experiencing withdrawal symptoms, vomiting, and coughing continuously since morning.
Relatives of the deceased, who were present to watch the reenactment, admitted that they couldn't believe Bualoy could be so cruel. They wanted to ask what kind of person would do something like that and how they could commit such a heinous act.
The deceased's son stated that Bualoy didn't usually live with the deceased, but recently he had been visiting frequently and often argued with her because Bualoy had a hot temper and was prone to shouting. Despite their arguments, he never imagined such an incident would occur.
