Prime Minister Acknowledges Efficient Management at Royal Funeral Ceremony

Bangkok: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, inspected the service points before paying respects to the royal remains and praised the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for its good management.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, along with his delegation, attended the royal funeral ceremony for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, held at Sanam Luang. The Bangkok Governor, Chadchart Sittipunt, led the delegation in reviewing the various service points established for the ceremony, which included nursing staff, cleaning staff, and police officers. Mr. Anutin expressed gratitude to all the agencies involved and offered words of encouragement for their dedicated efforts. Following this, Mr. Chadchart and Mr. Anutin proceeded to the screening point before entering the palace, where they conducted inspections and greeted officials present in the area.

Mr. Anutin acknowledged reports of a significant turnout of individuals paying their respects to the royal urn and commended the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) for its outstanding preparations. He expressed his belief that the arrangements, which include provisions for food and accommodation, were comprehensive enough to prevent any inconvenience to the public. The Prime Minister noted that the day’s visit highlighted a systematic and efficient operation at both the homage point and the royal canteen. He remains optimistic that the process will continue to run smoothly, with ongoing enhancements in efficiency.
