Quiet Morning in Parliament as MPs Yet to Register

Bangkok: The parliament was notably quiet this morning, with no Members of Parliament (MPs) arriving to register for duty. Since February 28th, only 97 out of 396 MPs have completed their registration, leaving 299 MPs yet to register.

According to Thai News Agency, on the fourth day of registration for the 27th House of Representatives, the Secretariat of the House of Representatives remained open for the registration of constituency MPs despite the day being a public holiday. Throughout the morning session, the atmosphere was calm, with no MPs arriving to register, and only members of the press were present to cover the event.

The Secretariat of the House of Representatives continues to accept registrations from Members of Parliament daily, operating from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
