Bangkok: The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) participated in a flight operation involving the AT-6TH aircraft, showcasing support and confidence in the Air Force's ongoing mission.
According to Thai News Agency, Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, leading the Royal Thai Air Force, took part in a flight with an AT-6TH aircraft from Squadron 411. This initiative was aimed at reinforcing the mission's importance and expressing solidarity with the Air Force personnel. The Commander emphasized the commitment to mutual care and collective progress, stating, "We will take care of each other and fly forward together with unwavering determination."
As part of the event, a "Fly Missing Wingman Formation" was executed to pay tribute to pilots who lost their lives in service. This act was particularly poignant following an accident involving this type of aircraft, which tragically resulted in the deaths of two pilots.
The Commander-in-Chief expressed, "We will remember those who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, and we will take care of those who remain. This is my commitment. That's why I'm here today, to oversee all of us who continue to serve the nation."
The RTAF's mission on combat readiness is an ongoing endeavor that has been integral since the Air Force's founding. Wing 411 serves as the primary air base in the North, tasked with the defense of the upper region.
