The crash site is located 60 kilometers from Chiang Mai Airport, within a designated RTAF training area. The incident resulted in the fatalities of two pilots, but there was no impact on civilians or property in the surrounding area.
Following the incident, Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, ordered relevant units to immediately secure the crash site.
