Royal Thai Air Force Wows Crowd at National Children’s Day Event

Bangkok: The Royal Thai Air Force's Children's Day event saw a large turnout, with audiences gathering to witness the aerobatic displays. On January 10, 2026, the event drew over 100,000 children who registered to take part in the festivities and enjoy the aerial performances.

According to Thai News Agency, the National Children's Day ceremony commenced at 8:00 AM, featuring an aerial display that painted the sky with smoke in the colors of the Thai flag. The children joined in singing the national anthem, setting the tone for an eventful day.

The F-16 fighter jets took to the skies at 8:35 AM, marking the first highlight of the event. The jets departed from Don Mueang Airport, with pilots providing commentary on the maneuvers, capturing the attention of the crowd. Following this, the Gripen aircraft showcased its capabilities in a second performance, executing maneuvers that thrilled the audience.

In addition to the aerobatic displays, the event showcased military equipment, including anti-aircraft rockets, tanks, and various guns. Soldiers from combat units were present for a photo session, allowing children to engage and fulfill their aspirations of interacting with military personnel.
