Bangkok: The State Enterprise Workers' Union of the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) submitted a letter opposing Peuk Lertwangpong's application for the position of Governor. A group of approximately 20 workers from the RAOT's State Enterprise Labor Union, led by Mr. Manop Kuearat, president of the union, traveled to the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to express their opposition to Mr. Lertwangpong's candidacy. Mr. Lertwangpong has a background in rubber and management and previously served as the Chairman and Acting Governor of RAOT before resigning to apply for the full governorship.

The union emphasized the importance of transparency and adherence to good governance principles to ensure efficient management and gain trust from personnel and stakeholders.
